BARS™ Post-Thaw Recovery Supplement

A cell culture supplement designed to support cell recovery after thawing.

Alpha Research Evaluation

For Research Use Only. Not for human or diagnostic use.

BARS™ Bio-Active Recovery Supplement is an experimental cell-culture supplement designed to support early attachment, viability, and morphology during recovery after thawing. It is added to post-thaw culture medium for evaluation alongside your existing workflow.

BARS is a biologics-based supplement manufactured using Ronawk’s Bio-OS platform with a proprietary human cell line cultivated in serum-free media.

Take part in the BARS Alpha evaluation

Who should participate?

U.S. research laboratories and core facilities interested in evaluating post-thaw cell recovery. We welcome MSCs, iPSCs, and primary cells, including neural cells. Other cell types may be considered based on workflow fit. Participation is subject to material availability and any required institutional agreement.

What does Ronawk provide?

Selected participants receive BARS Alpha material at no charge, evaluation instructions, an Experimental Worksheet, an Experience Feedback Form, and technical support. Any core facility fees require separate agreement.

What does participation involve?

Compare matched Control and BARS conditions from the same thaw, using BARS at a 1:10 dilution, one part BARS plus nine parts basal medium. Record basic cell and workflow information, an initial post-thaw viable cell count and/or viability measurement, and quantitative recovery measurements at approximately 24 hours and again at 72 hours using the same method.

Follow the supplied Alpha protocol; a minimum BARS exposure of 18 hours is recommended. Complete one Experimental Worksheet per cell model and independent thaw, along with the brief Experience Feedback Form. Two independent thaws are preferred when cell inventory permits. Images and additional data are welcome but optional.

Positive, neutral, and negative results are equally valuable. Participation does not require a purchase or public endorsement. Public use of your laboratory’s identity, images, or quotations requires separate permission.
